Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Thermal Sciences Associate for our Thermal Sciences Practice in Natick, MA . In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, applying fundamental engineering and scientific principles to real-world problems involving failure analysis, risk mitigation, and product development.
You will be responsible for
Applying mechanical engineering fundamentals to a broad range of technical problems and applications.
Planning, designing, and executing experimental test programs, including the construction of experimental apparatus, instrumentation, data acquisition, and data analysis.
Developing and using numerical and analytical models of physical phenomena.
Conducting risk assessments, fieldwork, and inspections, including data gathering and documentation.
Researching published literature and reviewing and synthesizing documents, data, and other technical information.
Preparing and communicating proposals, presentations, and technical reports to clients and other technical and non-technical audiences.
Managing projects and multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining quality and efficiency under deadlines.
Demonstrating a commitment to quality management in technical work and project delivery.
Identifying opportunities to expand current projects and developing new consulting engagements.
Pursuing continued professional development through publications, technical conferences, professional licensure, and certifications.
You will have the following skills and qualifications
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
Presently legally authorized to work in the United States; No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
