The Training Specialist will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Open to external candidates Job Summary The Training Specialist will support the Training function performing a broad range of administrative and technical tasks to develop and maintain systems and processes while leveraging effective communication skills and working relationships with management and employees across the mission areas. Job Duties: Performs broad range of administrative and technical tasks in support of the Training Branch. Designs, develops, and delivers computer-based training courses on a wide variety of subjects using industry standard techniques and providing technical elements to build a complete training package which includes but is not limited to photography, research, course scripts, video, simulations, and voice recording. Responsible for the development, revision, and maintenance of Workforce Qualification, Safety, and other training in coordination with the Training Branch Manager and identified teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and managers across the mission areas to meet training requirements and needs. Ensures training courses meet applicable AEDC standards and requirements. Translates complex technical concepts into easily digestible content & curriculum, creating a variety of learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led classroom materials, facilitator guides, & participant workbooks. Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in an organized manner. Facilitates, leads, & delivers training courses and deploys training content on a variety of topics in coordination with stakeholders. Maintains Training systems and processes and supports methods to improve Training services with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, and customer service. Evaluates and implements training software, systems, and tools to meet the learning and development needs of the workforce and makes informed recommendations with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and modernization. Coordinates with Instructors, SMEs, Managers, & vendors to schedule and facilitate both in-person and virtual classroom sessions.
