Are you ready to apply your planning skills to a role of Transport Planner that directly supports Australia’s Defence capability? At Toll Group, we are proud to be expanding our Government and Defence portfolio through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract.
We’re looking for a skilled Trasport Planner with Supply Chain Logistics experience in Warehouse & Transport to help support the achievement of service performance and contractual targets by maintaining visibility over order flow, identifying risks or delays, and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery plans are met. We are seeking Australian Citizens for this role as you will be subject to completing and passing a Government Security Clearance.
The Transport Planner plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative and customer service operations under the Government & Defence contract. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, document control, reporting support, and frontline customer service activities that contribute to efficient warehouse and distribution operations.
Based at RAAF Edinburgh in Edinburgh SA you’ll act as a critical bridge between warehouse, customer service, and operational teams to consolidate consignments, manage transport bookings, and optimise route and carrier utilisation. This is more than just analysis. It’s about solving problems, connecting stakeholders, and delivering improvements that matter.

How you’ll make the right impact
As a Transport Planner , you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence logistics operations run efficiently and in line with contract expectations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
Plan, coordinate, and confirm transport movements, ensuring alignment with capacity, and delivery windows
Use ERP/WMS and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to manage bookings, run sheets, and tracking
Monitor transport carrier performance and collaborate with internal teams to improve delivery…
