The current sub-level cave at Northparkes offers a solid 10-year mine life, including five years of development mining. Following this, Evolution Mining has a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade. Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, this role is a key part of our underground development operations. You’ll be responsible for executing long hole activities that keep our mining operations running smoothly and safely. What You’ll Be Doing: Carrying out precise long hole drilling using mechanised equipment, following design specifications with care and accuracy. Interpreting and following mine plans confidently, drilling to line, gradient, and profile with attention to detail. Setting up and troubleshooting long hole Drill rigs to ensure smooth and safe operation. Completing thorough pre-start checks and ensuring all equipment is safe and ready to go. Collaborating with the Shift Boss and previous crew to stay informed and aligned on the work area and daily priorities. Why Northparkes Operations?
