The Role
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer specializing in game UI localization to help adapt Nex games for players across multiple languages and regions.
This role focuses on making existing interfaces localization-ready and implementing localized content without compromising clarity, usability, visual quality, or performance. You will work across Figma and Unity to identify localization risks, adapt layouts and components for translated content, implement approved translations, and verify the final experience in game builds.
You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, engineers, technical artists, producers, QA, Content Operations, and localization partners. This is a hands-on production role for a designer who is comfortable owning localization work from design audit through implementation and visual QA.
What You'll Do
Audit UI for Localization Readiness: Review game screens, flows, and components to identify hardcoded text, embedded text in images, fixed-size containers, truncation risks, unsupported characters, and other localization blockers.
Adapt Layouts for Translated Content: Update Figma layouts and UI components to support text expansion, wrapping, dynamic sizing, different line heights, and script-specific typography while preserving hierarchy and readability.
