Location : Remote Contract timespan : Temporary position with possibility of becoming full time Compensation : Based on experience Key Responsibilities Understands the company's Vision & Mission Edit raw video footage into compelling content for YouTube, social media, websites, advertisements, or internal use. Cut, trim, color-correct, and enhance video/audio for clarity and style. Add graphics, text overlays, animations, sound effects, and music as needed. Collaborate with creative teams , producers, and clients to understand project goals. Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ensure consistency in visual style, tone, and branding. Optimize video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for newsletters and blogs. Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and platform requirements. Qualifications Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio/reel showcasing past work. Proficient in Portuguese is essential. Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) required. Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro , Final Cut Pro , DaVinci Resolve , or similar tools. We use Adobe Premiere in the company. Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects or similar) are a plus. Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Excellent time management and communication skills. Access to a reliable computer setup and high-speed internet.
