Videography Role Overview This entry-level position within the dynamic advertising sector offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to launch their career in visual storytelling. The primary objective of this role is to support the production team in capturing high-quality video content that aligns with client campaigns and brand narratives. As a key member of the creative unit, the successful candidate will assist in the technical execution of shoots, ensuring that all visual elements meet the rigorous standards expected in the fast-paced advertising environment. Key Responsibilities Assist senior videographers and camera operators during pre-production, production, and post-production phases of video projects. Set up, configure, and maintain camera equipment, specifically focusing on Canon camera systems to ensure optimal performance. Operate camera gear under supervision to capture footage that adheres to the director's vision and technical specifications. Manage camera accessories, including lenses, lighting, and audio equipment, ensuring they are ready for use and properly stored. Collaborate with the creative team to understand shot requirements and contribute to the visual planning of advertising content. Perform routine troubleshooting on camera hardware to minimize downtime during shoots. Support the editing team by organizing and transferring raw footage and media assets. Qualifications and Skills Experience: Open to fresh graduates or candidates with no prior professional work experience, eager to learn and grow in the field. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated familiarity with camera operations and a solid understanding of videography principles. Equipment Knowledge: Specific hands-on experience or training with Canon camera systems is highly preferred. Support Skills: Proven ability to function effectively as a camera assistant, managing logistics and equipment handling. Foundational Skills: Strong attention to detail, a creative mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Requirements Requirements Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–1 year of experience in Videography/Cinematography. Basic knowledge of camera operation, framing, composition, lighting, and video shooting techniques. Hands-on knowledge of Canon DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems is preferred. Familiarity with camera lenses, tripods, gimbals, lighting, microphones, and other camera accessories. Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools is an added advantage. Good visual sense, creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling ability. Ability to work under the direction of senior videographers, directors, and creative teams. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel for shoots, events, and outdoor assignments when required. Strong willingness to learn new equipment, techniques, and industry practices.
