Job Role : Voice & Accent Trainer
Shift : Night Shift
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Voice & Accent Trainer to join our Training—Voice & Accent team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing employees' communication skills through structured training programs focused on spoken English, pronunciation, accent neutralization, grammar, fluency, and customer interaction. The trainer will play a key role in improving communication effectiveness and ensuring associates meet organizational quality and client communication standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Voice & Accent training programs for new hires and existing employees.
Assess trainees' communication proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct training on pronunciation, articulation, intonation, stress, rhythm, and accent neutralization.
Improve spoken English, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and overall communication skills.
Train associates on customer service etiquette, active listening, empathy, and professional communication.
Conduct mock calls, role plays, and speech drills to build confidence and communication effectiveness.
Provide one-on-one coaching and constructive feedback based on individual performance.
Develop and update training materials, assessments, and learning modules.
Monitor trainee progress and maintain training reports and performance records.
Collaborate with the Operations and Quality teams to identify and address communication gaps.
Conduct refresher training sessions and support continuous learning initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to training programs.
Experience
1–4 years of experience as a Voice & Accent Trainer, Communication Trainer, or Soft Skills Trainer.
Experience in the BPO, KPO, US Healthcare (RCM), ITES, or Customer Support industry is preferred.
Experience in delivering classroom and virtual training sessions.
Exposure to coaching customer-facing teams and improving communication quality will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong knowledge of phonetics, pronunciation, articulation, intonation, and accent neutralization.
Sound understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and business communication.
Strong presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills.
Ability to assess communication proficiency and provide constructive feedback.
Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Certification in Voice & Accent, Soft Skills Training, English Language Training, or TESOL/TEFL is an added advantage.
