Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as an Opiate Recovery Support Volunteer
Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
Support our opiate team in delivering harm reduction interventions around opiate use
Delivering Needle and syringe exchange
Provide non-judgmental advice on safer drug use, including injecting, overdose prevention, and emergency response.
Providing Naloxone and safe storage boxes to our service users
Completing BBV testing
Supporting our service users in attending medical assessments and reviews
Supporting the opiate team in case management, recording notes on our case management system
Supporting our service users in meeting their support plans, working towards their future goals and aspirations
