We are looking for a dedicated Shift Lead to join the VR project. This is a hybrid position that perfectly combines the hands-on responsibilities of a VR operator with a Shift Lead role. You will coordinate the daily work of the operator team and report directly to the Team Leader. Alongside your coordination tasks, you will wear a VR headset to remotely control robotic arms, performing manipulation tasks such as packing and moving objects. Your movements will generate high-quality training data used to teach AI models how to operate autonomously. This is a technical, hands-on leadership role that requires patience, precision, excellent organizational and communication skills, and comfort with prolonged VR usage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the daily work and schedules of the VR operator team, ensuring tasks are executed repeatedly and consistently.
Report directly to the Client and Team Leader regarding team performance, output, and operational challenges.
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, utilizing very good English skills to maintain daily communication, report progress, and troubleshoot issues.
Continuous operation of robot arms using a VR headset to perform specific physical tasks (e.g., picking and packing sponges/boxes) with high precision.
Consolidate and report technical issues, bugs, or ergonomic challenges (e.g., depth perception issues, tracking loss) from the team to the engineering team.
Lead efforts in assisting and refining the user manual and setup procedures for current and future operators.
