Warehouse Associate
Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:30PM-11:00PM Experience: Warehouse, production, packaging, or material handling experience preferred
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse / Production Associate to support both production and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position involving packing, order picking, material handling, palletizing, shipping, quality inspections, and general warehouse/production duties.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, operating material handling equipment, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift. Candidates with experience using forklifts, rider pallet jacks, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Perform production and packaging duties including lifting, packing, taping, labeling, sorting, and palletizing
Accurately pick and pull customer orders while verifying product types and quantities
Move products and inventory using pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
Operate sit-down forklifts and Crown/Raymond reach trucks as needed
Transport completed orders to shipping and delivery areas
Select, stack, and secure products safely and neatly on pallets
Inspect pallets for proper labeling, shipping information, and load configuration
Repack and weigh orders as needed
Load and unload shipments and place inventory into designated racking locations
Break down and restack merchandise as required
Perform visual quality inspections and document inspections according to established procedures
Report defective, damaged, or nonconforming products and questionable conditions to a supervisor
Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Assist with physical inventory counts as needed
Maintain production pace while working effectively with other team members
Use power tools and other equipment as needed
Break down cardboard and assist with recycling
Maintain clean and organized production and warehouse areas, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and organizing
Perform safety inspections of equipment before use and immediately report unsafe equipment or conditions
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, production, packaging, material handling, or order-picking experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
Forklift certification required or ability to become certified
Experience operating an electric rider pallet jack preferred
Experience with sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, Crown, or Raymond equipment is a plus
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections
