We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager to join our Warehouse team in Newark NJ/NYC. You will focus on leading & overseeing a team of warehouse associates, inbound & outbound logistics. You'll work in an exciting and collaborative environment, surrounded by talented and motivated colleagues. What You Will Focus On: Leadership & Oversight: Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, including warehouse pickers and the box truck driver/packer. Provide clear direction, training, and feedback to maintain high operational standards and ensure seamless integration during peak periods. Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring the accurate and timely flow of furniture and home furnishing products. This includes managing inventory, optimizing warehouse space, and ensuring stock accuracy across both the main warehouse and satellite warehouses at destination cities. Delivery & Destination Coordination: Manage the box truck driver/packer and coordinate deliveries to satellite city warehouses. Ensure furniture is properly delivered, shelves are stocked with both pre-staged furniture and ad hoc items, and destination warehouse operations run efficiently. Travel Requirements: There may be occasional travel required—typically on a quarterly basis—to satellite storage locations to oversee operations, ensure proper inventory management, and support local teams. Hands-On Work: Load, unload, and stage large, heavy goods (furniture and parcels), pick orders with high attention to detail, and maintain organization using warehouse systems.
