Warehouse Operator (Shipping & Receiving) (Afternoon Shift)

Clemens, MI Number of Positions: 1 Salary: $22.00 Hourly ($.89 Shift Differential) Schedule: 2:00pm – 10:30pm Monday thru Friday Experience: We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years Warehouse experience. 1 year Forklift Driving experience is required. We need candidates with excellent computer skills. SAP experience is strongly preferred. Excellent skills with Warehouse Management Software is required. Background: Must be able to pass a Background Check & Drug Test   Axalta Coating Systems (Company Website Link)   Job Functions:   Responsibilities: Checks, processes, and clears customers’ orders for shipments. Sorts, arranges, and labels all the goods in the warehouse. Receives and examines all incoming and outgoing goods on behalf of the organization. Wears safety gear as needed in the warehouse. Collaborates with the procurement and sales department of the organization to ensure regular availability of goods. Keeps inventory or record of the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. Band and shrink wrap drums for shipments. When receiving inbound materials must ensure electronic and physical accuracy to maintain proper inventory levels. Communicate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders as needed. Controls both inbound and outbound trucking logistics with security and the area. Assists with area cycle counting. undefined undefined undefined Maintain and ship FedEx packages for entire site. Perform weekly cycle count tasks. Support movement of materials to and from offsite warehouse. Supports local training processes as needed.
