United Utilities operates across a number of contracts across our business, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan. The Team support reactive and planned maintenance across the CCTV & Jetting and Civils teams, further supported by our in house Traffic Management Division and Capital Projects covering the entire UU network. Salary: £34,814-£35,620 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, days. 06:30 - 16:30) Weekly pay Van: will be provided for the team to use which can be taken home (for work use only) Purpose of the role: We are seeking several operatives to join us due to a large long term contract that Sapphire Utility Solutions have won. You will be doing pre-survey's, CCTV and jetting of the drainage network. Training will be provided and a Van will be given to go to work from home. Ideally you will have drainage experience however training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: You will be working closely with another Drainage Engineer to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems. Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers. Competent in using an electronic device - tablet for data entry purposes Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures Key Requirements Skills & Experience: A manual UK Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points Experience is essential.
