Job Title: Web Software Developer II Location: Remote - DHS CISA Office of Bombing Prevention; approved work location within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; Security Requirements: Must successfully complete the required DHS/CISA OBP Public Trust background investigation, obtain and maintain a favorable DHS suitability/fitness determination (Public Trust), and maintain required system access. Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet DHS/CISA personnel and system access requirements. AttainX is seeking a Web Software Developer / Designer II to design accessible, user-friendly web interfaces for OBP’s secure information-sharing platform. This role improves the service experience for first responders while supporting cloud modernization and enterprise integration. Qualifications and Education Requirements: 2-4 years of related web design, front-end development, or user interface experience. A bachelor’s degree in web design, computer science, information technology, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience creating responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and applicable front-end tools; ability to present a portfolio or examples of relevant work. Ability to translate user needs into wireframes, prototypes, navigation, layouts, and reusable interface components. Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility, agency branding, usability, and secure web design practices. Experience collaborating with engineers and architects on API-driven interfaces, authentication workflows, version control, and Agile delivery. A relevant web accessibility or user experience design certification is preferred. US Citizen with ability to satisfy required DHS CISA OBP Government Public Trust background investigation, system access, nondisclosure, and sensitive-information protection requirements. Job Duties: Design and implement easy-to-use, visually appealing, agency-branded graphical interfaces for a secure information-sharing platform. Translate stakeholder requirements into navigation, page layouts, prototypes, and reusable design components for mission content and collaboration. Support interfaces for searching and presenting analyses, reports, documents, images, videos, and information submitted by first responders. Apply Section 508 accessibility, plain-language, CISA branding, and applicable DHS digital-experience guidance to web content and interface design. Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to integrate interfaces with SaaS offerings, cloud services, and CISA enterprise capabilities. Participate in incremental design reviews addressing usability, identity management, security, interoperability, and system health.
