Welder/Fabricator

Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Perform MIG, TIG, and/or arc welding depending on project requirements. Cut, shape, bend, and fabricate metal components using appropriate tools and machinery. Assemble and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal structures. Measure and inspect fabricated components to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. Perform grinding, finishing, and surface preparation. Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, grinders, drills, and presses. Maintain welding equipment and ensure tools are in safe working condition. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and welding standards. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and defects. Work independently or as part of a fabrication/installation team. Requirements Requirements: Previous experience as a welder, fabricator, or metalworker. Proficiency in relevant welding processes (MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA/ARC). Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Good knowledge of metal fabrication techniques. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Good attention to detail and measurement accuracy. Physically fit and able to work in a workshop or construction environment. Relevant welding certifications are an advantage. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
