We are seeking Welding Machine Operator on 2nd Shift to join our team at the Wesanco Smyrna TN plant! Schedule and Shift: 2nd 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday Hourly Pay Rate $21.00 : 2nd shift includes $1.0 0 shift differential Job Summary: Job Responsibilities: Operates a resistance welder. Learn the Wesanco welding processes which includes changeovers, setting weld schedules, dressing weld tips, changing weld tips, quality checks, and production and downtime reporting. Use of hand and power tools to use during changeover and to dress weld tips. Requirements: Follow all safety and PPE requirements. Be on time and ready to work. Excellent verbal communication skills with an aptitude for operating machinery. Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process. Attention to detail. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Forklift Certification preferred or be willing to be trained and certified on the forklift. Spot welding experience a plus. (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Must be able to clear drug screen and background check. Must have reliable transportation.
