Warehouse Returns Associate Part Time · Austin Office, Austin, TX, US · $20.00 (USD) Hourly Work Schedule: Varies by shift; may include evenings, holidays, and weekends Shop LC is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented people to join our warehouse Returns department. The Returns Associate processes product returns and information while supporting the warehouse staff and other departments in a 24/7, high-volume, fast-paced environment, and performs general warehouse duties including material picks, deliveries, and warehouse cleanup. Job Responsibilities • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements • Unpack returned merchandise, inspect package condition, and review return paperwork for proper processing • Inspect returned merchandise for quality and condition to determine return category • Receive merchandise, following all security and safety return procedures for each product type • Distribute returned items to their proper location based on product value, condition, and return type • Input clear, accurate customer account notes in internal systems, documenting return reasons, feedback, and instructions • Identify and report critical distribution issues to the team lead/supervisor • Complete data entry as needed • All other duties as assigned by manager Skills & Experience • 1–2 years of prior returns or similar experience preferred • Basic computer skills (e.g., personal computers, printers, email) • Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol • Prior experience in distribution, warehouse, or inventory handling preferred • Ability to operate inventory control and related computer software • Ability to stay focused and on task in a fast-paced environment Minimum Requirements These are the baseline expectations for every warehouse role at Shop LC, in addition to the role-specific duties and skills listed above. Physical • Remaining in a stationary position, standing or sitting, for prolonged periods • Moving about the warehouse to accomplish tasks, including walking for extended periods • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds • Performing repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers • Bending, reaching, and maneuvering around tasks in a warehouse environment • Pushing, pulling and maneuvering carts and equipment Communication • Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand safety instructions, job procedures, and workplace communications • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal directions • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers, leads, and supervisors Hygiene • Report to work neatly groomed and in compliance with company dress code and…
