Overview
The Front Office Manager is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
This is a seasonal role - November 2026 through April 2027
Responsibilities
Oversee daily Front Desk operations and ensure consistent guest service standards.
Resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations in a timely, professional manner.
Ensure compliance with cash handling, credit, reservation, and Front Office procedures.
Maintain knowledge of hotel rates, promotions, groups, VIPs, and restricted dates.
Train, coach, and support Front Desk associates on systems, procedures, and service expectations.
Oversee check-in/check-out processes and ensure accurate completion of shift reports and documentation.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to support efficient hotel operations.
Monitor Front Desk systems, promotions, loyalty programs, and departmental performance goals.
Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and labor management based on business needs.
Ensure associates follow emergency, safety, security, and communication procedures.
Maintain Front Desk organization and professional presentation standards.
Provide ongoing performance feedback and address associate concerns as needed.
Qualifications
College course work in related field helpful.
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Computer experience required.
Customer Services experience preferred.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
