About this Role
R.R. Cassidy, Inc. is seeking a Yard Superintendent to oversee daily yard operations. In this role, you will lead and schedule the crew to meet production goals, track and organize inventory of materials and equipment, and enforce all safety policies and regulations. You will be accountable for the yard's condition, productivity, and standards.
What You'll Do
Lead, schedule and direct the yard crew to meet daily production goals.
Track, organize and maintain inventory of materials and equipment.
Enforce all company safety policies and applicable regulations.
Communicate clearly with management and relay direction to the crew.
Coordinate with Logistics to ensure trucks are loaded on time and on schedule.
Coordinate with the Equipment Department on equipment maintenance and organization.
Solve operational problems quickly and effectively under pressure.
Maintain accountability for yard condition, productivity and standards.
What You'll Bring
Proven leadership experience supervising a crew.
Strong organizational and inventory-tracking skills.
Solid working knowledge of safety practices.
Strong communication skills- up and down the chain of command.
Reliable and accountable, with high personal standards.
Experience operating a forklift, loader or similar equipment is preferred.
