About the role Gain practical insight into the operational challenges faced during the early life of wind turbines. Develop project management experience from planning through to execution. Experience the importance of workplace culture and teamwork in an operational environment. in a hands-on environment at a self-perform operated site. Support statutory and annual routine campaigns as well as self-perform readiness. Contribute to the close-out of warranty defects. Assist with end-of-life and life-extension studies and major component exchanges. Help manage the day-to-day activities of an offshore wind farm. Job requirements and experience Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a combined engineering discipline. Eligibility to complete a year in industry placement as part of the degree programme. Very good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate workloads independently and meet tight deadlines. Confidence working in a diverse team environment and engaging with a range of stakeholders. Willingness to travel to other sites when required, with travel expenses covered.
